Acceptance, Trust, Perspective e.V. (AVP e.V.) is watching the latest developments in the Middle East with great concern and horror, especially the serious attacks on Israel by Hamas and Hezbollah. Israel’s security and sovereignty are non-negotiable for us.
The attacks, which have cost hundreds of innocent lives, are an unforgivable act of terror that we condemn in the strongest possible way. We stand unconditionally by Israel and its civilian population, who are living in great uncertainty and fear in these hours.
As an organisation working for the integration of migrants, we are deeply concerned by such blatant acts of hatred and violence. Anti-Semitism and terrorism are not tolerable for us in any form. We call on the international community to decisively oppose these attacks and to take all necessary measures to ensure the peace and security of Israel.
Furthermore, we call on all people in Germany and all over the world to distance themselves from such acts of violence, to show solidarity with Israel and to speak out against any form of anti-Semitism.
We express our deepest sympathy to the victims and their families and pray for peace, security and justice in the region.
