Our Family Support Service (FuD) within the AVP e.V. started in 2017 and is a contact point for families with one or more disabled children. We care for and support children, young people and young adolescents aged 6 to 27 with a disability, as well as their families and family members. Based on our intercultural competences, knowledge and experience to date, we would also like to address families with a migration background with our Family Support Service and care for and relieve them in a culturally sensitive and respectful way according to their cultural background.
We would like to get to know you in an initial conversation, learn about your wishes and expectations and inform you about possible forms of care and necessary documents. In a second interview we will meet with a trained caregiver and can discuss further details of your care and support.
We will be happy to support you in applying for relief services at the responsible offices. We will also be happy to advise you in general on social issues.
